Parent Support Group:

Wee Achieve Therapy is excited to announce and offer a monthly parent group meeting. This service is offered to parents/caregivers of children with unique abilities as a special way for parents to connect with other parents to share ideas, information, resources, and often times, to establish friendships. Periodically, various types of professionals are invited to speak to the group in order to provide resources and to answer questions/concerns. There is no cost to join or to participate. Feel free to contact us for more information on meeting location, times and dates. 

Soccer:

Just 4 Kicks is an adaptive recreation soccer team especially designed for children of all abilities ages 3 yrs. and up. This league was formed in an effort to create an adaptive and inclusive model for soccer which allows for modifications to help remove participation barriers to make a team sport accessible to all!  Our approach focuses on participation at the skill level of each individual child.  Soccer practice typically begins with an emphasis on pragmatic/social language skills, such as greeting peers, asking and answering questions, and turn-taking. This is followed by a warm-up period where players participate in a handful of basic stretches and exercises. Players then work on learning (or building upon) their skills by partaking in various soccer drills. The team finishes up with a short scrimmage game with a parent and coaches celebratory tunnel to run through at the end. 
Parent participation on the field is encouraged and welcomed!   
Just 4 Kicks offers an excellent opportunity for children to develop/further enhance their socialization skills, and to learn about teamwork, all while being outdoors and exercising.  Being part of a  team gives children a sense of achievement and unity.  Team shirts, pictures, individual trophies and an end-of-season pizza party will be provided all at a low cost registration fee of $45.00.  CONTACT US at 727.643.6148 with any questions.
